"Clean as a whistle" fresh juices
There are times (like after big family dinners or holiday feasting)
when you feel that your insides need a good cleaning out! This
is my favorite remedy for "spring cleaning" my inner body. I
love the taste of this juice. My husband was the one who
introduced it to me, and now I use this fantastic juice every so
often, when needed. When I am feeling under the weather, or
"stagnant" so to speak, I have him whip me up a batch first
thing in the morning. Try it out for your self!
SPRING CLEANING IN A GLASS
1 carrot
1 celery stalk
a handful of green grapes
a few sprigs of parsley
Add ingredients one at a time to your home juicer. Drink juice
immediately! I like mine over ice.
RED ZOOM
this juice has plenty of folic acid (which is a fantastic brain
booster) Drink this before work to help concentrate!
7 oz raw beets
1 carrot
1 large orange
2 oz of spinach
Prepare veggies and fruit as your home juicer recommends,
then juice. Drink immediately.
TUMMY SOOTHER
This juice is sure to settle an upset tummy! Great for pregnant
women who have morning sickness, but can be enjoyed by
anyone! It tastes great!
1/2 a small pineapple
1 oz fresh ginger root
1 carrot
ice cubes
prepare fruits as directed for your juicer. Juice fruits and root.
Serve immediately over ice.
GREEN GLORY
This is great for rejuvenating, and perfect for people with skin,
liver and kidney disorders. Tasty and gloriously green!
1 green apple
5oz green grapes
small handful of fresh coriander (cilantro)
1 oz of watercress
1 tbsp lime juice
prepare according to your juicer, then juice ingredients, stir in
lime juice and serve immediately.
Here are two juices I like to make in the
summer for my kids. They are outstanding
served very cold over ice! I call them
"summer heat rescue remedies"
WATERMELON WONDER
this is fantastic on a hot summer day!!
Watermelon chunks
red grapes
strawberries
prepare according to your juicers instructions, then juice. Serve
in a tall glass with lots of ice!
SUMMER COOLER
honeydew melon chunks
several mint sprigs (just use leaves)
juice of two large limes
ice cubes
prepare ingredients according to your home juicer instructions.
Juice ingredients and then stir in lime juice. Serve over ice. So
refreshing!
